Party this weekend at San Tomas Park


Noon class will be at 11:30 Tomorrow, Dave will be teaching the class


Saturday's Schedule: No classes, take a rest day, show up at our BBQ

Workout for Tomorrow:


Overhead Squat 3-3-3-3-3 reps

Strength Workout for Tomorrow:


Squat Snatch 5-5-5-5-5 

The bar can be dropped but needs to be picked up within 5 Seconds. I do not want the strain on your grip while going back down to ruin your chances of snatching bigger loads


Bench Press 20 Reps 

Goal: Perform all 20 presses without re-racking or dropping the bar, 1-10 should be about a 7 hard, 11-15 should be about a 8 and 15-20 should put you around a 9. This is our first set, we will build from here.

Have a spotter please!


As many rounds as possible in 3 minutes, rest 1 minute and repeat for a total of 2 rounds

10 Squat snatches at 95#

10 burpees

I'm not a big TV watcher, but other than the Sharks games, which I may not be able to bear watching this year, somehow they've managed to schedule Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, AND the Ultimate Fighter for the same season - I'm glad I can record shows!

And WOW, new CF Games video about Jason on the Main Site - quite a teaser, so I hope they show the whole story!

I am looking forward to FOOTBALL. Fantasy football is the best. Anybody down to start a fantasy league crossfitters ???

I wish I had a tv. What is a squat snatch?

A squat snatch is a "snatch" however the crease of your hip has to pass your knee joint.

I want people to learn how to get under the weight and not just power it up, eventually they will be limited without being able to catch it low.

I'm looking forward to Californiacation, Dexter and Heroes.

I love this strength program. Every single day this week I've seen the strength workout and gone, "Dammit, this is my weakest link." (This is a good thing.)

I think its very interesting how there's a part in the video with Josh Everett talking about the immense pressure of being a crossfit celebrity and the incredible expectations that come along with it. And the fact that you, Jason, finished where you finished; taking all things into consideration, is a true testament to your will-power, determination, and your fitness level. Can't wait for the actual video to come out.

Entourage...but it's already here and 1/2 way through the season. Just hope they don't make us wait for 18 months for the next one!!
